CILICIA, Tarsus. Hadrian. AD 117-138. AR Tridrachm (24mm, 10.21 g, 12h). Laureate head right / Tyche seated left on throne, holding palm frond and cornucopia; below, half-length figure of river-god Cydnus swimming left; throne decorated with sphinx; all within wreath border. Prieur 763; SNG Levante 998 var. (Tyche resting left hand on throne, pelleted border); SNG BN 1404; RPC III 3260/10 (this coin cited). VF, toned, a couple of scratches, minor porosity. Rare variety with Tyche holding both palm frond and cornucopia on throne decorated with sphinx.
